What: The Pottstown-Tower Health Hospital would like twice monthly visits from KPETS dog teams for staff stress relief. Volunteers must meet the hospital’s volunteer policies and have the following clearances: PA Child Abuse and PA Criminal Records check. FBI clearance required if you have not been a resident for 10+ years. Documentation of Flu vaccine, Covid vaccine and a copy of history of immunizations. These will to go to the Employee Health Office. It is then determined what type of bloodwork is required in addition to a TB test. Contact the site for details. Copies of your pet’s vaccination records and rabies certificate will also be needed.

COVID Precautions: SITE – Vaccine and masks required. KPETS General – Visiting volunteers must have a signed KPETS volunteer agreement COVID-19 addendum on file with KPETS and follow current CDC, state, local and the visit site’s COVID-19 guidelines during each visit.
